Step 1 has been completed. Or almost completed. I talked with my former professor and she'll call back for an appointment once she's settled in to her office at the new Spori. Now, if I'm really serious about implementing this plan, or accomplishing my goals, I need to break Step 1 down into mini steps if I'm to successfully get a job. I need to find other avenues of looking. One will be trying freelance, of course. Another will be to keep my eyes peeled for another job opening at the city newspaper. When I was younger, I would have liked to be a housewife by now, but of course, life didn't turn out that way.

I would like to take my computer into the shop, and have it fixed as best as possible, but with how soon it's crashed since the last time...it doesn't seem worth spending the money. Even though a new computer costs hundreds of dollars, it might be cheaper in the end just to buy one. Now if only I had $800 to buy one and have a hundred or a lil more to have my files transferred from my present one to it. But right now that is only a dream...

Last Friday (where I played intermediary between Heather and *J* and *E*) was interesting. I wouldn't say it was an unqualified success, but it wasn't a disaster either. It was just...us (Heather and me)...and then, them (*J* and *E*). It's gonna take a lot more than this type of get-together (and only once) to get this friendship of theirs back on track. That is, if both parties are wanting it to work.
I better go; I can't stay on like I used to. If I feel like it, I may talk more about Friday at a later time.
