Writing Whatever I Feel
07-26-2002 E 10:41 p.m.
I'm too lazy to wade through the sluggishness of this computer to change the mood meter, so I'll just tell you how I feel: hormonal!

I'm just writing whatever comes to my mind, because there's nothing to report that would spark your interest. Since last night's crying jag in bed, all I've felt like doing is shutting down to have another one. Especially after dealing with my youngest sis today. The past two days Aubree and I have been buddies to a good degree. She was sweet and helpful, cheerful and caring. It was a wonderful change from her usual attitude. Bbbuutt, Miss Attitude returned today. A couple lil things I did, like going outside and over to the laundry room door to let Ege in to his food and water then coming back in and trying to call Mama, irked her. She jumped on me and then when I wouldn't take it, she pulled the "quit yelling at me and I'll respond better" routine. Ppfft. Excuse me, but who got mad at who first? Who jumped down who's throat? She even called me 'butthead.' Sheesh.

I just walked away. I was afraid if I said anything else she would belittle that the way she made did of the gestures I use when I get angry. She can really hurt.

She rented Crossroads last night. It really is a good movie and one of my favorites now. I love it because, not only is it very well-written but the friendship that renews between the three girls is so tangible. It was one movie which I never wanted to see end. You took the journey with the girls and Ben. You saw the girls grow and mature as the trip progressed. Ben, Lucy, Mimi and Kit were near virtual strangers when it began, but by the end they were like a family. Whatever you think of Britney Spears or of chick flicks, you should give this one a chance. You won't regret it.

Mom and I walked down memory lane tonight with a Remington Steele fest. Dad found a couple of recorded tapes of its final episodes hiding in the movie shelves we have next to my door. It was also my favorite detective show of the time. In one episode a homicidal maniac and his daughter were trying to kill Laura Holt and Remington Steele. He even had their headstones ready with the date: February 21, 1984. Almost 20 years ago. And Pierce is still a handsome man. I must go. Syanara.
