"I love you, Shiloh. Too bad I met your sister before you, eh," he said, surprising me.
Warm affection filled my heart at these words and I murmured, "Yeah," not knowing what to say.
Noah straightened and caressed my cheek. "You're going to get a Stripling Warrior," he added softly.
Confused and even more surprised at his phrasing, I asked: "How--what makes you say that?" At the same time my mind was racing and sifting through any memory that might explain how he could possibly know my title for whomever will be my soulmate.
"Your little sister told me," he answered. "And you will. You'll get a Stripling Warrior." Squeezing my hand affectionately, he left to go watch a movie with Kami in the front family room.
As it was after one I naturally was exhausted, so that had to have something to do with the tears that welled up and flowed down my cheeks after he departed. I was just so touched; no guy has ever said the like to me before. It gives me hope that a guy as cute and sweet as Noah could love me in such a way. And I couldn't help wanting to know my guy now, to be in a relationship with him. But, as they say, and I hate this type of wisdom sometimes, but it's so true: All in good time. *wry smile*

Yes, risk taking is inherently failure-prone. Otherwise, it would be called sure-thing-taking.
