Apples and Grapes
06-16-2004 E 8:41 p.m.
Ha! Look's like I'm updating twice today. I find it amusing that something happens or else I get distracted when I say I'm going to update twice and then don't. But then when I don't plan to, I end updating again! *small chuckle*

My friend, Kjerstina sent this email not too long ago about men and women and apples and grapes. I thought it was cute and funny, not to mention true.

Apples and Grapes

"Women are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Many men don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples from the ground. They are not as good...but they were easy to get without putting out much effort.

"So the apples at the top think something is wrong with them--when in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along--the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

"Men, on the other hand, are like fine wine. They start out as grapes. It is up to women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with."

*chuckles heartily* Cute eh? The men might not appreciate the humor as much as the women, but it gets the general message across and answers my question of why some men are so hooked on outward appearances. I'm just an amazing apple waiting for that super brave man to come along and pick me. In the meantime his mama is stompin' His Grapeness into a fine wine in a big ole vat for me. LOL.
