slightly nauseatedI love My Yahoo! homepage. It's personalized with horoscope, comics, theater and movie listings, DVD and music album releases and several more things. Of course, other servers, like MSN, offer similar homepage choices, but I prefer Yahoo!. Mostly because I can personalize its background and look and because it has a wide variety of comics. I can choose at most three of my favorites to display on the page, then browse through some of the others that I like on Yahoo!'s main Comics page.
B.C. has been one of my absolute favorites for years. I like how the cartoonist, Johnny Hart, is so versatile in his strip. He can be funny--like in the strip below--or he can be serious and sensitive when certain topics or current events call for it. He's wonderful in my opinion, right up there with Lynn Johnson who does For Better Or For Worse, another one of my all-time favorites.
And of course, there's my new look for this journal. HALLOWEEN already. I've wanted to do a couple of holiday versions for this journal for awhile now, but never got around to it, but this year I decided to just do it, so here's the Halloween edition. I couldn't wait for October, so...up it went.
Perhaps my fall gusto is accredited to the fact that for the past month and a half I have participated in a Halloween blog associated with the Soul Food Café. It's been a blast and has really excited me for this year's pre-holiday and holiday activities.
