I felt like
updating again, so here we are...again. This was in a chain email I got from someone I chat with on Yahoo! and MSN now, come to think of it. I tried forwarding it, but for some reason, perhaps for the simple one I may need to change email options, it failed to send properly. Thus I'm sharing it this way. Perhaps more people will see it anyway if I do.
This is a ribbon for the soldiers fighting in Iraq. Pass it on to everyone and pray.
I felt this was appropriate for our situation and in light of the sobering fact my brother is being deployed to Iraq for almost two years. He's receiving training for several weeks then he'll leave for that far distant land.
As I've mentioned before, this past weekend was spent with family before Michael had to report for training. We spent time with Grandpa and Grandma B., then we spent a day with Nan and Paw Paw and had a cookout at Aunt Colleen's with her family. *soft smile* We were all gathered as a big family, enjoying each other's company and the love that was felt. Before we took our leave of each other Mike and Jen were given Priesthood blessings. Right then you could feel the love, the power of the Priesthood exercised righteously and definitely the Spirit residing there. It was humbling, and special. The Priesthood has the power to guide, to protect, to heal, to perform miracles. We literally placed Michael in the Lord's hands.
Success results in getting up one more time than you're knocked down.
