This week's P-O-Y is...Signs and Labels. What signs or labels would the people in your life hang around your neck if they could?
We all wear signs, or labels; they're just invisible and inescapable. We have them with each role we play, with every impression we make. There's the sister, the brother, the child, the mother, the father, the husband, the wife, and other relative rolls. Then there's the thorn in your side, the boss and the employee, to name a few others.
Other labels, obviously, come from character traits or the impressions we give. Shy, loser, obnoxious, smart, paranoid, etc.
I know this asked for the labels others might think I need, but I just wanted to point out first that even though we don't wear any stick-it labels reading "Hi, my is..." on our shirts, we do have labels.
