Jen called last night, and we all--well, those of us who were home--had wonderful visits with her. I was the last one to speak with her...got on about ten after 10 or 10:15 and uh...*colors a bit sheepishly* we didn't get off till 12:30 a.m. I can't say I'm sorry, but I feel bad 'cause she's going to have a one heck of a phone bill, mostly due to me. =os She's got my email though, so maybe once she writes I can offer to help pay part of her bill for that call. I think I'll do that, though after that I need to start saving up for a new processor or tower.
My processor is rapidly giving out. This thing freezes up regularly and shows errors on pages, where on Dad's computer there are none. I may be without a computer soon for some time until I can save up for a new processor or new tower.
While I feel guilty for the cost the length of our conversation racked up, as I said I don't regret our time. It surely did not feel like two hours--until my elbow protested its prolonged position. *soft laugh* We talked about a range of topics, my brother (her hubby) among them. From the banal "What's happening with you?" to computers, to Institute, to depression, to faith and the church, to my seizures, to the country's basic framework centered on the gospel of Christ. She understood how I was feeling on almost every topic and she understood the topic of depression because she has had to deal with it through meds on occasion. It was just a neat convo.

for the Internet itself, any money I have will need to go towards the computer.

Oh yes, and
- The subsequent books in the Xanth series that I don't have
I would start buying these one thing at a time, starting next month when I no longer have a phone bill, but as I said any money I get will go towards the computer.
Then I can start shrinking my wishlist, perhaps a couple items at time. *wiggles eyebrows up and down*
