Family Week
05-25-2004 E 1:36 p.m.
I'm dubbing this week "Family Week." Jon's graduation from high school is tomorrow, and so we have family coming in at various times to help celebrate. Jessy and my nephew, Brogan are coming in today. Grandpa and Grandma B. are coming tomorrow and will stay the night. Nathaniel (Jessy's husband) is coming Friday from his internship in Elko, NV. And here's the most exciting part yet!: Mike and Jen are coming home this weekend!

Mike graduated from the base at Ft. Wachuka(sp?) on the 20th and rejoined his wife in Monterrey. She finishes up her schooling this week so they have to come a bit later. Plus, they're moving their stuff back to Idaho so they have to everything ready, pets and all. They have a cat, Mowgli; a dog, Elvie; a bird and two or three mice.

So yeah, I'm excited to see my family. I haven't those who're coming for five months or more. They all will make this place a happenin' pad. Brogan is 10-months-old, so he's into everything within reach. Jessy, his mother, says if he doesn't like his food and wants what you have, he'll tug on the tablecloth, drawing the food nearer, nearer and nearer. He was always interested in grown-up food. LOL. Grandpa and Grandma haven't seen him since he was three-week-old, so they'll be happy and surprised to see how he's grown.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but the mastery of it.
