Candles Are a Gift of Light
Candles are a gift of light,
A tiny sun, a bit of star.
No other dancer in the night

I'm without my computer for the next few days--joy, joy, joy--so I may doing double updates as I'm allowed on Dad's computer till I get mine from the shop. Sssooo, we're both at the mercy of time and what I can easily add here as part of the countdown. This year may indeed turn out to be a musically themed countdown.
I thought the above was a pretty poem. Very descriptive and easily envisioned. There's something about their pinpoints or flames of light that seems to warm a soul, that calls to all of us. That seems to give us hope. I dunno...perhaps, light and hope are intrinsically connected?
After all, Christ is our Savior, the Light and Hope of the World...
