I've, or my personal stats have, been turned into art.
This is me, if I were an abstract painting or picture. Not sure what to make of this, if I should be flattered or offended. Never really was one for abstract art. But others like this sort of thing. It
was kind of fun to do though, to ponder what my stats--or I--would look like as an abstract piece. If you wanna try it,
here is the website. It turns you into data, your data into values, and your values into art. Enjoy, and do let me know if you tried it.
**********Once again I found some article that caught my attention when I went to MSN.com. But this time, instead of copying and pasting it here for you and my phantom posterity to read, I'll just get to the nitty gritty of its cutting, highly uncomplimentary point. (Rare for me, I know, but I can do it.)
Not that these men care, I'm sure, but some alternative weekly magazine in Boston has appointed itself as the authority on who're the 100 Unsexiest Men In the World. Here's its complete list, which consists of celebrities in almost every category--including international terrorists:

My first thought as I read through the list was,
Ouch!, but, like I said above I don't much think these men care what a stupid magazine thinks of them. According to a sister article, Gilbert Gottfried is reveling in being called
the "Unsexiest Man In the World." The added insight of knowing that two
men made this list up explains why a number of names made the cut when one normally wouldn't have expected them to, like Brad Pitt, Nick Nolte and Kevin Federline. (I wonder what people would have thought, said or done if Nick Lechey had made the list's aspersing cut? *quirks an eyebrow* What would you have thought, said or done? In fact, what
do you think? What would you like to say? What would you have done, if you could have done something about it?)
The world is so self-centered, vain and materialistic now, it's small wonder the generation of today is one of instant gratification. The attitude or outlook the list exhibits does not, in anyway, provide a positive one for anyone. It only reinforces the shallow and vacuous, wholly unrealistic traits people strive for as they try in vain to be like the "role models" of Hollywood and the fashion industry. It's a sad reflection on our society that our role models have become anorexically thin super models or superstars of diverse types who seem to only care about their fame and how much they make. Whatever happened to good old-fashioned values where substance mattered? The dubious and unrealistic standards or traits today's role models have often have frightening and potentially fatal consequences. In striving to be the ideal beautiful woman, many teens and young women, even older women, do harmful things to themselves. They sometimes starve themselves, often developing anorexia; or they develop bulimia, an equally serious disease. Or they have plastic surgery after plastic surgery to quickly get that sexy, "perfect" body or to maintain their "youth." Or they start an exercise program or diet that's too vigorous and harsh in the beginning and themselves that way. We don't need these kinds of role models or pressures to be sexy and "perfect."
